Return & Refund

We really hope you love your baby booties from Decuccia, but if something’s not quite right, don’t worry. We’ll do our best to sort it out. Below is how our returns and refunds work, written in plain English, not legal jargon.

How Long Do I Have?

You’ve got 30 days from the day your order arrives to ask for a return or refund.

Here’s what we need the item to be:

  • Unused and unwashed
  • Still in its original condition (with tags, labels, packaging, etc.)
  • Not damaged after arrival (unless the issue came from us)

If your item was marked “final sale” or “non-returnable” when you bought it, unfortunately, we can’t take it back. The same goes for gift cards or items that were damaged after use.

Something Wrong? Let Us Know

If you received the wrong item, something arrived damaged, or anything just doesn’t seem right, email us at support@decuccia.store.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A short description of what’s wrong
  • A few photos if it’s damaged, defective, or not what you ordered

We’ll reply within 1–2 business days to walk you through what happens next.

Who Covers the Return Shipping?

  • If the problem is on our end (like a wrong item or something defective), we’ll pay for the return shipping.
  • If you just changed your mind or ordered the wrong thing, you’ll need to cover the return postage. We recommend using a tracked service so your item doesn’t get lost on the way back.
  • Don’t send anything back without checking with us first; we’ll give you the correct return address (it’s not always the one on the label).

Refund Situations

Here’s when we issue refunds:

  • Damaged or defective: Let us know within 7 days of receiving it. If we confirm the issue, we’ll refund you or send a replacement.
  • Wrong item: Told us within 7 days? We’ll fix it by resending the correct one and covering the return of the incorrect item.
  • Order never showed up: If it’s been more than 15 business days since your order was marked “delivered” and you still don’t have it, reach out. We’ll investigate and either resend or refund.
  • Changed your mind? As long as it’s within 30 days and the item’s still in perfect shape, we’ll take it back. Just note: shipping costs from your original order are non-refundable.

Need to Cancel?

If you just placed your order and changed your mind, email us within 12 hours, and we can probably cancel it before it ships. After that, we’ll need to go through the return process.

How Long Do Refunds Take?

Once we’ve received and checked the item:

  • We’ll issue the refund to your original payment method, usually within 7 business days.
  • You’ll get an email once it’s processed.
  • If it takes longer, it might be due to your bank or payment provider.
