Hello, and welcome to Decuccia! My name is Jackson Erwin Cornal, and I’m the parent who started this whole wonderful, tiny obsession.

This journey didn’t begin with a business plan; it started with a laugh and a groan, something every parent knows well. One chilly afternoon in our Rockford, Illinois, home I was snapping a photo of my newborn, Miles, and realized again that one of her adorable, expensive little booties had vanished. Poof! Just gone.

We’ve all been there: digging through the couch cushions, retracing our steps around the house, only to find that single, lonely sock tucked under the dog’s bed. It was a funny moment, but it sparked a serious thought: Why is it so impossible to find a baby bootie that is genuinely soft, breathable, cute, and actually stays on a wiggling foot?
